Magnifi now behaves much more like an app, with smarter caching and a smoother dashboard experience.
The big theme of this update is simple: Magnifi should feel like an app, not a website that keeps making you wait.
If you’ve ever tapped into a page, seen the URL change, and then had to wait through that awkward blank moment while everything caught up, this work is for you. We spent this round improving how Magnifi keeps important parts of the app ready in the background, so moving through your workspace feels steadier, faster, and less fragile on weaker connections.
What changed
- Navigation is now "App-Like". We’ve implemented a custom loading bar and pre-fetching logic. When you click a link, we start moving before the browser even knows what happened.
- The Dashboard is ready when you are. We’ve added eager data hydration. This means your dashboard stats and recent activity are ready to view the moment the page hits the screen.
- Background Persistence. We’ve improved how the app remembers your state between sessions, so you can pick up exactly where you left off.
What this means for you
You’ll notice that moving between Teams, Projects, and your Inbox feels much "snappier." There is less "white screen" time and more "doing work" time.
Why we cared
The difference between a tool that is "fine" and a tool that is "great" is often measured in milliseconds. By focusing on these invisible details, we’re making sure Magnifi stays out of your way so you can stay in your flow.
What’s next
- We’re continuing to optimize our database round-trips.
- We’re looking into even deeper offline capabilities for teams on the move.
